Presentation Day

Finally the presentation day is done and dusted.
We all gelled together and tried our best presenting the presentation on Media Convergence.

Lastly we've got an Audio piece to do, we all sat down and came up with ideas, questions and an introduction as to how it's going to be structured.

Chelsi, James, Jess and Rose will be Recording it tomorrow and James editing it as I've unfortunately got a work experience placement on Fridays.

Hope it all goes well and i'll be listening to it on Monday.

So we did our presentation today, I spoke about the affects on society as this is what I did my presentation slides on. Just the audio to do now which I will be doing with Jessica, James and Rose tomorrow.

Rose. My Last Ever Post?

Things are coming to an end for us now with this assignment. And were hoping to get everything handed in on Monday 12th.


Tommorrow we will be doing our last piece which is an audio piece. Were setting it out in the style of a radio show.
Jess, Chelsie and James are taking controle of this bit and I'm being the (fake) presenter for the (fake) show.
Today we did our presentation and did a self peer assessment.... it was stressful! I didn't like it, at all. But got it sorted in the end.
Then we started to plan our audio. I booked out a marantz microphone and we plan to do it tomorrow!

At the weekend were all going to print out things and then hopefully we'll be DONE AND DUSTED!

Things have been getting real now. Stress is hitting me. We have been given our time slot to do our presentation. I'm as specially nervous because we've decided to talk about what we wrote in the essay. All I did was the opening and ending, then put it all together. ARGH!

We are nearly getting there, think Becky has nearly completed the presentation, the essay has been put together. and now we have the video to complete which can also be audio which might be a good idea....

For the video I was thinking we could either go around the media city building and get shots of people on all sorts of technology. another idea is that we could just do some vox pops of asking other students and public about what they think of the technological change...

The presentation is coming up to next Thursday so we need to be able to speak for 2 minutes....

another thing we are going to add is a few videos of each of our sectors of the assignment.

It's now only the video or audio left to do which we haven't decided on but Jess, James and Chelsie are doing that together!

Presentation Slides

Recently I created slides on "Society". Here I wrote about what people can do with technology and also wrote about negavive points on how technology affects society. I then wrote about how people communicate with technology as this is one area which is massively affected. An example of this is people use their laptops/ mobiles etc and communicate over social networking sites.
I also added a few pictures and a video to the slide.

I have recently created slides in the powerpoint presentation we are going to present. i have tried to make it eye appealing and interesting. i have also done more research on media convergence so that hopefully soon i will start to understand what it is >.<
